Prof. Dr. Ralf Spiller is the head of Macromedia Graduate School at Cologne campus and member of the Media School faculty.
Dr. Spiller studied law and political science in Constance, Salamanca and Freiburg. He spent his legal traineeship in Brandenburg and Berlin. During his PhD in political science, he wrote his dissertation on the management of multilateral negotiations exploring communication processes amongst other things. After graduating from the Georg von Holtzbrinck School of Economic Journalism, he worked as an editor at Handelsblatt newspaper in Düsseldorf. At the Handelsblatt, he was responsible for launching new media products in his capacity as project and product manager. Most recently, Dr. Spiller worked at Capgemini's international consulting firm and Practice Group Telecommunication Media & Entertainment, where he was responsible for marketing and PR projects. His research interests are in interactive media, print media, corporate communications and negotiation management.
