Bachelor's Degree in Media Management with specialisation in Music Management: Classical Music, Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, Electro, R'n'B
"Music was my first love and it will be my last." If music is to set the tone in your life not only privately, but also professionally, our Bachelor's programme in Music Management (B.A.) is just the thing for you.
Whether it's music production, artist promotion or festivals - music managers are always in the thick of things. As the right and left hand of their artist, they organise concerts and ensure media coverage. Furthermore, they advise on the further artistic development applying a great deal of tact and sensitivity.
In recent years, globalisation and digitalisation of our daily media have brought a breath of fresh air to the music market and brought about drastic changes. Where music was once bought, it is now shared. Where once a record deal was the be-all and end-all, YouTube today offers everyone a global stage and access to millions of listeners. Fan communities via social media are just as indispensable for newcomer bands as they are for the legends of Rock'n'Roll. In the music industry, innovative concepts and the targeted use of digital media are more important than ever.
So it's no wonder that the demand for professional music managers is booming. A good music manager combines creative qualities with goal-oriented, entrepreneurial action. His focus lies in the strategic conception and operative management surrounding the realisation of various projects in the colourful world of the music industry.
