Course content and your competencies
The skills and competencies that you acquire during your studies are diversified and cross-disciplinary. The curriculum of the Film Directing specialisation is quite comprehensive in that it blends the basics with an all-round knowledge together with adequate practical competence through practice projects.

Fully accredited semester abroad
At the Macromedia University, we empower you to widen your international perspectives. You will spend a semester at one of our renowned international
partner institutions and earn fully accredited 30 ECTS points towards your degree. The direct path from Bachelor’s to Master’s
The option exists to add a Macromedia University Master’s degree straight onto your Bachelor’s course. If you have earned 210 ECTS with the 7-semester Bachelor’s degree, you can join the 3-semester Master's in the Summer Semester in March. If you have only 180 ECTS, you can join the 4-semester Master's in the Winter Semester. We recommend the Master’s in Media and Communications Management.
