Tuition fees at the Macromedia University

Tuition fees for students from countries belonging to the European Union

5,250 € per semester
Registration fee 500 €
For Film and Television programme, there is an additional equipment charge of 600 € per semester. For Fashion Design B.A. at Atelier Chardon Savard, the fee is 4,050 € per semester The monthly rate is 690 € per month.

The tuition fees apply to students from countries of the European Union or with evidence of at least two years of residency in Germany.

Methods of tuition payments

We offer a variety of payment models. You can select the model that suits you the best. The Macromedia University offers the following payment models:

  • Term payment: Standard model, depending on course 3, 6 or 7 instalments.
  • Monthly payment: It is possible to make smaller monthly payments. The rates are as follows:1090 € for Master‘s, 890 € for Bachelor’s, 1090 € for Bachelor with Additional Degree. For Film Directing programme, the monthly rate is 890 € + 100 € (monthly equipment charge). The one-time registration fee is additional on top.
  • Monthly payment with suretyship (For EU students): Make smaller monthly payments of 500 € during your studies. In return your payments will exceed your graduation date and a suretyship will secure this method of payment. For example studying BA Media Management, it would be 76 payments plus a directly-liable suretyship of 17,000 €.
  • Down-payment and monthly payments: With a down-payment monthly instalments will decrease. This is a common payment model if parents and students are financing jointly.
  • Single payment: Pay the total amount in one instalment and we will grant a discount.

Courses at Macromedia University are not state-subsidised and are therefore financed solely from tuition fees. The standard method of payment is to pay each term. Different conditions apply to other payment models such as monthly payment, single payment or the combination of down-payment and monthly payments.
