Brand Consultancy Interbrand: Strategies for Diversity and Inclusion

The issues of diversity, equity and inclusion are of central importance at the level of society as a whole and are currently being renegotiated in politics and society. DEI strategies (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) are therefore of particular importance in terms of a successful corporate culture.

The global brand consultancy Interbrand also attaches great importance to this dimension of entrepreneurial activity. In the cooperation with the Macromedia University, those responsible therefore sought further impulses to strengthen the company culture and the mindset of employees with regard to diversity, equity and inclusion.

In collaboration with Interbrand employee and Macromedia graduate Meike Papenfuß, Cologne design and design management students developed 10 concepts for DEI strategies over the course of the semester. The entire project was led by Cologne design professor and head of the Macromedia Faculty of Arts Dr. Christof Breidenich.
