Trade Association Food & Hospitality (BGN): Design Research Project
BGN requested innovative communication concepts to create awareness of
skin care issues in the professional work environment, particularly in
bakeries, and to trigger sustainable skin care behaviour change in young
target groups.

Over a period of two semesters, students
conducted qualitative research with relevant target groups to support a
human-centred design approach. By using the design thinking methodology,
new communication concepts were developed and gradually refined with
the help of various prototypes and further research to create an
enticing and rewarding user experience for young audiences.

student team successfully presented their research findings and
innovative solutions together with Prof. Szasz at the BGN headquarters
in Mannheim with the result that their concepts will be implemented.
