Media industry has been shaken by dramatic change in the past ten years and even more disruption is on the way. How will digital transformation shape large media companies - how are they dealing with technological change?
„With the new format „Meet Personally“ students get the chance to exchange directly with renown media experts and learn about backgrounds of current campaigns, digital trends and corporate strategies. First hand information, no filter. We mean ’meet personally’ literally: to bring students in a lively dialogue with media representatives“, Prof. Dr. Dominik Pietzcker explains the intention of the new event series at campus Berlin.
Axel Springer, Ogilvy, Scholz&Friends: Course of open lectures with top experts from the media and creative industry
First guest is Dr. Moritz Holzgraefe, Head of Governmental Affairs at Axel Spinger SE. On April 24, 2019, he will talk about „Relations between Media Businesses and Government“.
The second open lecture is held by Frank Dittrich (Head New Business) and Nina Kumpovic (Human Resources) from creative agency Ogilvy Wordwide. They will discuss “The Next Creative Challenge for Young Talents” on April 25, 2019.
On May 9, Stefan Wegner, CEO at Scholz & Friends Advertising, will put a shine on „New Ways of Communications in the Digital Age“.
Finally, Aayan Güls from Institut für Zukunftsfragen will come to Campus Berlin. On May 14, she will put a shine on the „Ten Major Global Trends“ affecting media business. This last event is held in German.
