Macromedia University at Its Most International: Seventh International Evening at the Berlin Campus

More international students than ever before took up their studies in Macromedia University’s English-language Master and Bachelor programmes this winter semester. Among them are exchange students from our partner universities in Paris. A few weeks into the semester, a large number of both international and national students accepted the International Office’s invitation to this semester’s International Evening, which was held on October 31.

Master and Bachelor students from Italy, Ukraine, India, Chile, Brazil, Ireland, Thailand and Togo offered much-applauded presentations on their home countries and personal backgrounds, which provided an audience of fellow students, faculty and administrative staff with great information and even greater entertainment. The programme was rounded off with a lovely singing performance by Bachelor student Abhiti Anand from India, who already delighted us with her songs in former semesters.

With financial support from the DAAD through Federal Foreign Office funds, Macromedia University offered a delicious buffet, which included culinary treats contributed by international students from France and South Korea. Organized by Berlin International Office managers Dr. Edda Luckas and Jenny Jahn with the help of student assistant Dorottya Balla, the International Evening went into its seventh edition and has by now become a beloved tradition as a platform for intercultural exchange at the Berlin campus.
