International Evening: Connecting Across National Borders

The International Evening has become a tradition at every beginning of a new Semester at Macromedia University: Here all international and German Macromedia members have the chance to connect and expand their horizons by getting to know their fellow students - after all, thinking globally is one of the main goals of the university. On October 25th, this semester's edition was met with great appreciation by both students and faculty.

(Berlin) Organized by the International Office and thanks to the generous sponsorship of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), this years’ International dinner was a great opportunity for the new international students to get to know Macromedia University with all its different people. National and international students got in contact with each other and had the chance to exchange their experiences about student life, their homecountries and more.

The event was rounded off with a delicious buffet with dishes contributed by students from countries all around the world and a great singing performance by our international student Ms. Abhiti Anand. In the course of the evening the DAAD prize was awarded to the international Master’s student Mr. José Alberto Espinosa Fernández for his outstanding social commitment in his home country Mexico, for refugees in Germany and for fellow international students at Macromedia University. Another highlight was the announcement of last semesters’ Project 2 winner team of the “DJI drone project”. They received a Maverick drone as their prize. Thanks to everyone for making this evening such a delightful and entertaining event!
