FAZ: Benchmark study news apps
A project led by Prof. Dr. Alyosh Agarwal, in cooperation with German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, to design an app for the mobile news business.

Bachelor and master program "Media and Communication Management" students developed proposals for the design of a news app for use on mobile devices.
Methods used to develop the project included competitor analysis, reader surveys, research into literature and different design approaches. The aim was also to use new technologies such as voice control.
At the end of the project the participants presented their results to the management team at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Mrs Lea Herzfeld coordinated the project on behalf of the F.A.Z.
