Elected Chairs of Macromedia Diversity Commission: Professors Wolfram and Kleinselbeck

Macromedia University professor of Media Management and Head of Graduate School Berlin Gernot Wolfram (PhD) and professor of Brand Management and Advertising Brigitte Kleinselbeck (PhD), both from Berlin, have been elected chairman and co-chair of the Macromedia Commission on Diversity.

(Berlin) „I am greatly honored by the confidence shown in me by my fellow commissioners“, Professor Gernot Wolfram (PhD) said. „We are greatly concerned about challenges to academic freedom of diversity at all our campuses. I’m looking forward to augmenting the commission's role and voice in recommending ways diversity can play an even stronger role in our academic life.“

A professor of media management and cultural studies, Wolfram is engaged in numerous research projects on empowerment, participation and cultural change in an international context. Since 2009 he has been working as subject expert for intercultural communication and European cultural activities in the Team Europe of the European Commission in Germany. As scientific head of the „Intercultural Summer School in Berlin“, he has directed various media and culture projects of the European Information Center Berlin.

Professor Brigitte Kleinselbeck (PhD), elected co-chair of the Commission on Diversity, considers Macromedia University as part of a larger global community recognizing the responsibility to share experiences, concerns and ideas to imagine a better future of all. She believes in collaboration and highlights the commission's commitment to the wisdom that comes from including the many voices of a democratic society.
